I am 69 years young ,been married twice ,12 years and 26 years ,so doing something right ,or something wrong , depends how you look at it ,both relationships ended amicable ,just wanted different things out of life ,,so I moved to rural Cheshire ,I love the outdoors gardening and carp fishing and holidays abroad esp ,I have not been put off marriage but don't think it's necessary ,I would like to meet someone who would be a friend and then see where it goes

What do you like most about where you currently live?

Very rural ,nice garden and walking distance to the shops and restaurants

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I am semi retired but have been in engineering most of my working life apart from a time in retail management

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I love the outdoors , gardening and carp fishing are my favourite pastimes I love holidays abroad

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I have traveled quite a lot. On holidays , including Egypt and my favourite place Bali

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Australia probably but would love to return to Bali

What would you do on an ideal date?

Nice restaurant ,good food ,a few drinks and pleasant company

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone I can talk to about anything, a best friend, someone who is not shy about how they feel

What makes a good relationship?

Honesty and being able to talk about our feelings ,not bottling things up ,and not suffacating each over,

What makes you laugh?

I have quite a good sense of humour and like comedians ,and comedy films and my border collie pup

What music do you like?

All types but especially 60s and 70s

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Helping my 3 sons grow into the men they are now, very proud of them

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Meeting someone and spending time to get to know them and then who knows
