Strong bonds with the people important to me matter a great deal. I value depth and conversation; from human behaviour and financial markets to software development, AI, animals, religion, etc. And while it may sound clichéd, it’s genuinely important to me to really know the person I’m with; all of you, your delights, your fears, and everything in between. I’m as comfortable with silence as I am with words, and I appreciate moments that don’t need explaining.

I’d like to think of myself as a gentleman; kind, considerate, respectful, and emotionally switched on. I know when to be serious, but beneath that is a hopeless romantic who still believes in both grand gestures and the small, thoughtful ones that often mean the most.

My job keeps me busy, but life has taught me that time is precious, so balance really matters. These days, I prioritise enjoying the little things; lazy evenings, surprise dinners out, flowers for no reason, a walk along the canal, or a spontaneous weekend trip that starts with “pack a bag.” I like staying fit, eating well, and looking after myself, but I also believe life is for enjoying; good food, great company, and the occasional indulgence included. Whether it’s a cosy night in or a luxurious escape, I’m very much in. I’m quite disciplined about my fitness routine; it is always evolving, but it is something I rarely miss.

I’ve been told my sense of humour is one of my best qualities; situational, ranging from dry to gently teasing to observational. Laughter is non-negotiable. If we can make each other laugh, we’re already off to a great start.

I’m looking for someone kind, affectionate, adventurous, and perhaps a little cheeky; curious about life and not afraid to lean into it. Someone I can unwind with, explore with, open up to, and grow alongside; grow old with.
