Hello, here’s hoping that at least a few people actually read profiles, to find out a little more about the person and don’t make snap judgements based on looks alone, after all, real beauty lies on the inside :-)

I’m disabled, I use a stick for short distances and a wheelchair for longer distances or simply to sit, as it’s difficult and painful for me to stand for more than a few minutes.

Luckily my brain still works and none of my ailments (there are quite a few) are contagious.
It takes me much longer to do things, often simple tasks are exhausting and painful,
therefore I’m not looking for someone that’s madly into the gym, keep fit, cycling / hiking, or adrenaline junkies, not much point striking up a friendship with someone that has opposite interests / capabilities !

I have a gosh and try to view life with ‘a glass half full’ attitude.

I’m not after casual anything, nor wanting to be friends with people a long distance away, I’m certainly not interested in chatting to anyone that isn’t single and finally, definitely not interested in anyone outside of the 50’s to 60’s age bracket.

Honesty, loyalty, kindness, empathy, compassion, genuine friendship, humour and straight talking are all traits I value, please don’t contact me if you don’t possess ALL of those !

What do you like most about where you currently live?

It’s quiet, small village in the countryside

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Love watching sport, F1, cricket, rugby, bit of football.
Listening to music, very varied taste, depends what I feel like.
Enjoy watching good film or series.
Love spending time with my family.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Cornwall
Kruger park, South Africa

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I’d really like to see lots of the UK.
KNP South Africa is my favourite place, just wish it was closer !

What would you do on an ideal date?

A quiet drink, chat somewhere with lovely scenery.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Friendship at the moment

What makes a good relationship?

Trust, honesty, loyalty, consideration, sense of humour.

What makes you laugh?

I can find the funny side of most things, love having a giggle.
