Okay here goes, but please see it through to the end.
Following two recent amputations I am temporarily wheelchair bound. My left leg was amputated below the knee last year and the right one three months ago. Hvave just taken delivery of my second bright shiny prosthetic and will soon have limited walking skills again. I’m going to the gym three times a week to build the strength required to achieve this goal. I’m also going to conquer the climbing wall! Why? Because it’s there and I’ve been told I can’t ! Although I have some vision I am registered blind. Not got to the white stick yet though! Other than these minor inconveniences I’m the very model of the oldest teenager around.
Any way, don’t write me off just yet, I have the balls and determination not to become a daytime tv cabbage for many years yet.
So after years of unadulterated shit, I’ve decided it’s Happy Times Ahead. Be nice to have a partner in crime.
