What do you like most about where you currently live?

I’m near the coast so I get to walk by the sea which is my favourite place to be.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I’m retired now but used to have a cafe which I enjoyed very much. Great way of meeting people from all walks of life. I’m enjoying retirement but have a lot of spare time on my hands which I would like to fill with some interesting company.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I enjoy Pilates and walking. Not one for too much exercise! I like reading, movies and pottering in my garden. I love going out for coffee or a nice meal in a nice restaurant.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I’m not much of a traveller. I love living in the UK. There are so many beautiful places here.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I’ve never travelled far. I’ve no interest in travel.

What would you do on an ideal date?

My ideal date would be a nice evening meal in a nice restaurant with an interesting person.

What are you looking for in a partner?

I’m looking for someone who is wanting a person to spend time with and getting to know slowly over time.

What makes a good relationship?

I think what makes a good relationship is spending time getting to know someone. Learning about their interests and needs. What they like and what they don’t like. Just getting to know them.

What makes you laugh?

I laugh easily. Lots of things make me laugh. Every day life has lots of comedy. I like a lot of the stand up comedy. My own and other people’s misfortunes in life can be comedic. I used to love the old Peter Sellers films and a lot of the newer movies can be funny.

What music do you like?

Heavy rock is my favourite. Soft rock. All music really, old and new. My favourite band is and always has been AC/DC. I also like some opera.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

I’ve had a good life. I’ve been lucky with the way it’s turned. I’ve had hard times and sad times but generally it’s been good. There have been many highlights.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Just to be happy and healthy and have someone to share some of it with.
