About Seafarer
Seafarer is separated and is seeking females for friendship or a serious relationship.
Young at heart, professional, relaxed, caring, supportive, energetic, good listener. I want to find a best friend first and foremost. Please read my profile, feel free to ask any question, I’m an open book. Happy to send photos.
What do you like most about where you currently live?
I live in the countryside and enjoy all the benefits that brings, peace and quiet, lots of fantastic dog walks, clean air, a wonderful community (friends and family). I have the added benefit of easy access to London and also the coast and river estuaries….all I miss is the mountains!
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
I manage a great team of people, we’re tight knit and support each other. I enjoy the flexibility my job gives me, working from home, in our offices across the south east, or visiting clients further afield. Variety is the spice of life!
What are your favourite leisure activities?
Spending time with my children and dog, out on walks, afloat somewhere (I’m a bit of a water baby and enjoy a few different water sports), trips off to the mountains of Wales, Scotland etc. I love being outdoors. I also take pleasure in designing, planning and doing DIY and home improvement, I love the creative process and the sense of achievement when you step back from a completed job.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
I’m not particularly well travelled, my time has been spent in the UK and on European beach holidays. To date my favourite places are the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Devon, Cornwall, and Holland.
Where in the world would you love to visit?
I’d love to see Scandinavia, Italy, Canada, New Zealand, Bhutan, Patagonia…the impact of global travel on the environment does concern me though….I might just take a very long trip on a bike! Fancy joining me on a tandem?
What would you do on an ideal date?
Walk and talk, grab a drink and a bite to eat, something relaxed and informal….bring your dog along too!
What are you looking for in a partner?
Someone with a good sense of humour, young at heart, energetic, driven, intellectual, caring, tactile, a family person.
What makes a good relationship?
Being best friends. Sharing the good and the bad. Supporting one another. Having different interests and learning and growing with one another.
What makes you laugh?
I have a dry sense of humour and I think I’m quite quick witted, a lot of people don’t know when I’m being serious or joking. I click with people who share my sense of humour and we tend to live in our own little bubble.
What music do you like?
I have an eclectic taste, I’m not particularly a music person, I love to dance and anything high energy with a beat generally sets me off. If I had to name a few I’d say Kings of Leon, London Grammar and Prodigy…that probably gives you a feel.
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
Definitely my kids, but I’ve had some achievements too which don’t fall far short of that experience.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
I have a long to do list, as my children grow up and I have more ‘me’ time I’ll start to tick things off. They range from little projects, to major adventures, or just reading a good book. It would be nice to share and live my list with someone special.
