What do you like most about where you currently live?

I have a lovely bungalow and it's on a quiet street with good neighbours. The park is a 5-minute walk away. Hale Lighthouse is lovely for walking to.
Excellent bus routes into Widnes and Liverpool if needed (car or no car)A row of shops and two pubs a two-minute walk away.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I'm retired and do some voluntary work. Helping people is a joy. We all need help at some point in our lives. (I'm giving something back)

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I play snooker. Walking football. I like walking.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I like places in the UK:England, Scotland, and Wales. I like Greece, Spain and Portugal.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

America, Canada and Australia. The Philippines and Vietnam. There are so many places.

What would you do on an ideal date?

A lovely country pub to get to know her. Maybe a pub meal with a few drinks and good conversation.
Humour is always a good thing. Then let it see where it goes!

What are you looking for in a partner?

Trust, honesty, and, of course, love. Someone who will be there for support. Understanding and compromise when,if disagreements arise. It's always best to talk something through. I don't like shouting. I'm grounded in my attitude.

What makes a good relationship?

Understanding each other. Supporting each other. Good communication. Respect and trust. Shared interests.

What makes you laugh?

A funny story. A funny comment even if it's a daft comment. A facial expression. Something someone may say or do. If I hear a good joke.

What music do you like?

I'm a singer-songwriter so I like rock, pop, blues, folk and country rock.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

My wonderful mum and dad although they are in heaven now. Family is important to me.
Being a singer-songwriter with a few publishing deals after years of struggle to get somewhere.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Meeting the woman whom I'll adore and love with respect.

Why is love so hard to find?

Maybe because some men and women make the wrong choices. This sounds like me. 🤷
