About RomanticOldFool
RomanticOldFool is divorced and is seeking females for a serious relationship.
What do you like most about where you currently live?
I live by the sea in a semi-rural area and I love it! It's perfect for dog walking and healthy lifestyle.
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
My work involves helping people in a professional role. Being freelance I enjoy the flexibility this affords plus I now consider myself to be 'semi-retired'.
What are your favourite leisure activities?
I enjoy walking my dog; being in the countryside; visiting NT properties; eating out; gardening; driving and classic cars; playing tennis and badminton; socialising; spending time with family and especially my three granddaughters; playing my piano; listening to music (especially classical) but other genres too; laughing and having a good time with friends.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
Over the years I have ben lucky enough to travel all over the world, especially the far east. Parts of Vietnam are beautiful, also Thailand. To be honest I am equally happy visiting places in our beautiful country such as the Lake District and the West Country.
Where in the world would you love to visit?
Maldives, New Zealand...so many lovely places!
What would you do on an ideal date?
A stroll somewhere nice followed by a drink or meal in a relaxing pub.
What are you looking for in a partner?
I think it's all about the 'chemistry' between two people. But if I had to describe my ideal partner, I would say someone with a good sense of humour who is kind, considerate, with a social conscience and 'non-discriminatory'.
What makes a good relationship?
'The chemistry'. If it's there, it's there! Through life I've learnt the importance of listening, good communication, compromising, understanding.
What makes you laugh?
Pretty much anything. Usually somewhat inappropriately. Got me into trouble more than once!
What music do you like?
Many genres but I especially enjoy listening to classical music. Stuff from the 80's, The Eagles, The Beatles, Cold Play. Let's say my musical interests are 'eclectic'.
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
Hopefully it's about to happen with you! Otherwise, I would say having my son and daughter and especially my three beautiful granddaughters.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
I know it's a very overused phrase, BUT...to meet my 'soul mate', someone with whom to enjoy the rest of our lives and retirement together doing whatever we enjoy doing together.
