What do you like most about where you currently live?

I live in a town between Nottingham and Derby. We still have a railway station (bonus) and my house is on a quiet cul-de-sac. Easy access to the Peak District, a favourite of mine.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I am fully retired from 2022

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Time to enjoy anything. I enjoy walking, hence happy to have the Peak District on my doorstep. I love to travel be that at home or abroad. Love the seaside too.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I would love to return to America and Canada. Loved visits to the Caribbean. Never been to Australia or New Zealand, but defo on my bucket list. As is a cruise.
But would travel anywhere home or abroad, with the right company.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I have been fortunate with travelling, but the southern hemisphere has eluded me. I would also like to go on a cruise, wherever.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Hopefully a chat on the phone to break ice. A nice relaxing coffee, with lunch. Somewhere both feel comfortable and able to talk freely. Or a short walk followed by same.

What are you looking for in a partner?

We are all looking for our soulmate. I would like to meet someone with a sense of humour, enjoys a good laugh. Someone to talk and share life's experiences gone and to come. To just relax in company.
Whatever happens, I hope a friendship is the minimum outcome

What makes a good relationship?

Trust, honesty and openness. Respect of each other and acknowledgement that life has been lived, but the future is awaiting. Talking, awareness and respect.

What makes you laugh?

I remember fondly all the quality comedy shows from the '70s and '80s.
I love live comedy too. Recently saw Peter Kay live in Nottingham, July 2023
I have a sense of humour and would hope my date would as well.

What music do you like?

I have a broad music outlook. Enjoy listening to music from the '50s onwards
Love my music system which allows me to set the genre to my requirements

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

There has been a few, outside of my three children.

Fortunate is all I can put here. I recognise we all have our own highlights, and would love to discuss what these are.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

A companion, soulmate, friend and partner.
I hope to meet that special one, but if it is only one friend, then I will feel successful.
