Life’s taught me to cherish the quiet moments, shared laughter over tea, unspoken comfort in tough times, and the steady presence of someone who simply gets it. I believe love isn’t always loud, sometimes it’s found in the small, everyday acts of care.

I’ve faced cancer, spent time with people at the end of life, and helped frightened rescue dogs learn to trust again. I show up, for people, for animals, for the moments that matter. Volunteering in hospice care and animal rescue reminds me daily that real strength often looks like quiet kindness.

I’m hoping to meet a warm, emotionally honest woman who sees past the surface and values kindness, depth, and connection that grows from real friendship.

A note about my photos: the main one is from before my cancer treatment, it’s the only close-up where you can see my eyes clearly. I wear dark glasses now, even after sunset, and scleroderma means my expression doesn’t always show what I’m feeling. But the heart behind it is unchanged, steady, open, and very much alive.
