prayingfortime is single and is seeking females for a casual relationship or a serious relationship.

Having been single over two years after being in a relationship for over fifteen years I thought I'd try this site. Being in my 50's it's not so easy meeting other single people in a similar age group so lets see where this journey takes me! I'm originally from London but have lived in Cambridgeshire for some years and I miss sharing life, friendship, experience, support and love with someone special and, lets face it, that's the only way to be as a mature person!

What do you like most about where you currently live?

It's a pleasant little market town with a river, a camping park and a nice historic look with lovely scenery. I live within easy reach of all that I need and it's safer, less populated and more affordable than London where I'm from.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Badminton, cycling, travel, films, reading, a varied taste in restaurants (i.e Indian, Thai, Greek, Italian etc.,) and I'm an animal lover.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I've travelled to New York, Barcelona (& Sitges), Fueteventura, Berlin, Amsterdam and I also lived in Perth, Western Australia for about a year where the climate was great. More recently I went to Cyprus where a school friend lives and it's also the home of the Father of my favourite [male] singer, George Michael.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

More of the U.S, Japan, Sweden.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Have a drink or coffee and a nice chat to see if compatibility is there.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone I can support and be supported by so that we can care for each other and have longevity and a lasting, loving relationship.

What makes a good relationship?

It's nice when a couple always talk to each other, discuss things before making a decision and thus decide on things as a couple rather than as an individual. That brings harmony to the relationship. Also always being there for each other.

What makes you laugh?

Anything with a good sense of humour! I'm a fan of 'Only Fools and Horses' and a few other known tv comedies.

What music do you like?

George Michael, Whitney Houston, Elton John, David Bowie, Aretha Franklin, Billy Ocean, Queen, Barry White, Simply Red, plenty of soul, reggae, most things but not heavy rock.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Living in Australia for about a year and learning a very different lifestyle! It couldn't work permanently for a few reasons but was nice and quite enjoyable practically.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Building a relationship with a lovely, exciting lady who I can settle and grow old with.
