About Me

I was born at a very young age and quickly developed a sense of humor—probably because I intuitively knew I’d end up on a dating app one day.

I’m a laid-back, down-to-earth retired airline pilot (spent 10 years flying the Airbus A321 out of LHR).

I came from humble beginnings—my first job as a teenager was driving a laundry van—but these days I’m built for leisure. While I still do a bit of flight training and writing, I am thoroughly enjoying retirement. You can usually find me out country walking with my camera, or tending to my 200-year-old cottage garden. It’s set in a secluded hamlet with zero street lighting, which makes for spectacular stargazing (and minimal spooky vibes, I promise).

I’m a bit eccentric, a big people person, and a purveyor of mirth who appreciates modern life (I can even tolerate Taylor Swift). I try to eat healthily and hit my 30 plants a week, but I possess a mutual love for occasional junk food.

About You

I’m looking to meet a sincere, mature lady with similar interests who can see the funny side of life. Distance is no object—especially since they invented the wheel.

My property includes an acre of land, a large chunk of which is a wildlife meadow. If you own a trowel, a pair of wellies, and a great sense of humor, we’ll get on famously.
