I am new to all of this and a bit nervous about it,i was persuaded to give it a go by a friend.I am a fairly quiet person but do have my moments,i am honest and consider myself kind and like to help others I think i am a lot younger than i am, but dont we all..i am not materialistic and enjoy simple things,like a nice walk by the sea or a river and a drink and something to eat at the end day,going somewhere nice for breakfast or to a tea room,people watching, day trips exploring different places,sitting on the beach with a bag of chips watching the sun go down.i prefer to be outdoors especially in the summertime.I have travelled quite a lot and would like to do a lot more.i am good at manual things and built my own house many years ago and enjoy helping out my children,friends and neighbours with their diy jobs.I would like to meet someone,firstly as a friend and just see what happens.Being on your own can sometimes be lonely and it would be nice to find that someone special to share some good times with.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

i like the quiet position but i am thinking of moving to a smaller house

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

working in different places and meeting different people.choosing when and how many hours i do.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

mostly outdoor things,especially in the summer,days out exploring,walking by the sea,canals,countryside and country pubs.i like playing scrabble.i have a couple of old cars i like to tinker with from time to time.I quite a handyman and enjoy helping out friends and neighbours.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

anywhere thats warmer than here in the winter time.I do like asia.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

more of asia.perhaps the carribean

What would you do on an ideal date?

perhaps go to a quiet country pub for a meal or just meet somewhere for a cuppa and get to know each other first

What are you looking for in a partner?

someone to enjoy spending time with who shares some of the same interests as myself.i would like to share some of their interests too.someone who is honest,kind and caring is important.i am quite young at heart and would like someone similar.i havnt dated anyone for a very long time and might be a bit shy until i get to know someone

What makes a good relationship?

i think honesty is the most important thing,sharing things with each other,good and bad.

What makes you laugh?

most funny things i suppose like anybody else and small children

What music do you like?

most music except that rap stuff

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

my children,building my own house and seeing my daughter get married

What are you looking forward to in the future?

someone to share new experiences with and quality time together
