Love being outdoors, and if its with my camera so much the better

I like visiting nature reserves, walking on the beach, exploring historic houses and gardens. I love to travel far and wide and have done quite a few nature based holidays which are incredibly rewarding.

I also like short breaks away in the UK and am more than happy to book things travelling with very short notice. I mean really short notice. Book now, travel tomorrow. Life is way too short to spend days upon days procrastinating.

Enjoy eating out and its always great to find a lovely country pub

I haven't been to the theatre for many, many years, but willing to give it a go - its good to widen your interests

I am a widower with 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren - so its almost always someone birthday.

I've just ordered a new VW campervan for delivery in August. It's base vehicle is the new VW Transporter so has everything you would get in a good quality car and you can park most places that you park a car, which means you not stuck on a campsite having to walk, cycle or catch a bus to everywhere. You just wake up, get dressed, have breakfast and head out on new adventures when ever you feel like it.
Have you ever thought about being out and about in a camper? There are lots of lovely places to explore in the UK and also Ireland and Europe.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

Being next to the sea and amazing countryside

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I have been retired for 12 years and this nis definitely the best job I have ever had

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Being out in nature with my camera and binoculars, or simply walking along the beach

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Africa and South America - the people are incredibly friendly and the wildlife has to be seen to be believed.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Borneo and Sri Lanka and Papua New Guinea

What would you do on an ideal date?

A meal in a lovely cozy country pub, followed by a leisurely walk

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone who is fun to be with and has a zest for life - making memories - being totally relaxed with.

What makes a good relationship?

Integrity, mutual respect, recognizing that its ok to have a different view / opinion. Being open and honest. But above all, being totally relaxed in each others company and happy to spend "alone time"

Silly jokes - think Tim Vine, Observational humor...think Michael McIntyre

60's and 70's, Motown, Andre Rieu, Country

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Children, Grandchildren and Great grandchildren . I have 3,9 and 4 respectively

More travel, more time outdoors, just enjoying life whilst health allows
