I was married for 25 years and have been happily divorced for 20 years.
I recently retired after 30 years working in mainenance/ operations and most recently QHSE.
I have 2 dogs. Both girls. A Belgian Malinois aged 8 yrs and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged 6 months. They are part of the bundle so if you're not into dogs or resent the time they need, then you and I will never get along.
What or who am I looking for?
Someone close to my own age 60+/- 5 years.
Local to Stafford (J13-14 / M6 within 20 miles unless you convince me otherwise).

As I stated, I have been divorced 20 years, and though I have had a couple of relationships , I am no push over, now am I desperate!
I have my own mind. I am articulate, intelligent, sometimes opionated, but always listen to other viewpoints. However, if you vote Labour or Lib Dumb, or support Palestine, move on as you are obviously brain dead from the neck up!

Anyway, I have a good sense of humour and li,e old movies, horror, crime, biographical. I love Michael McIntyre but can't stand so called comics who insult others for laughs or have to use the f word to get a giggle.
My musical taste is very eclectic. It depends on my mood. One day is Brahms or Beethoven, the next it might be. Malmsteen or Disturbed! I like reading, crime thrillers, or old classics like Lord of the Rings or Tolstoy etc etc. Very nerdie lol
I am a nice, honest , unique person. I like to think reasonably attractive without 2 inches of slap filters or both! Not a fan of hiding behind facepaint. Close to town and open spaces

I'm retired so I no longer answer to anyone.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Walking, usually with my dogs. Baking bread. Eating fresh baked bread!

Anywhere near the coast.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

China, Egypt, Australia again.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Laugh. Get to know him. Hopefully.y click and arrange another date.

Someone who let's me be me and shows me his real self.

Anything with a decent melody whether vocal or orchestral.
