What do you like most about where you currently live?

I’m lucky enough to live by the beautiful coastline of Portstewart and enjoy lots of walks with my dog.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I’m retired and do voluntary work for a charity which has become very close to my heart since losing my husband.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Being creative, walks, picnics, coffee with friends, visiting National Trust properties, watching a movie either at home or the cinema, out for dinner, gardening and driving my MG classic car.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Favourite places in the world are Cyprus, Mexico, Spain, anywhere by the coast, countryside and visiting listed buildings and their gardens.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I don’t mind where I visit….. anywhere in the world is beautiful if you have that one special person along side you.

What would you do on an ideal date?

An ideal date would be a walk chatting freely together and holding hands with lots of laughter and then maybe a cuppa or picnic/lunch together.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone who wears his heart on his sleeve, sense of humour but can also be serious too, caring, spontaneous

What makes a good relationship?

Love, friendship, good communication, trust, making time for each other, listening to each other, supporting each other, being open and honest and considering their partners feelings.

What makes you laugh?

My dog, sharing a funny story with a friend and laughing until our sides are sore,

What music do you like?

80s, 90s, some country music, love songs, Top 40, rock, classical

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Highlight of my life so far has been a very happy marriage for almost 32 years and two sons whom I love dearly.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

To find someone special to build a new life with but begin with friendship and take things slowly and start to live again. The memories of my life before with my husband will remain safe in my heart but I think I’m now ready to move forward in a positive way and to hopefully make more new memories.
