OK. Why does this always feel like the interview thing when they say "Tell us a little about yourself ". I blush easily, so when I've finished blushing and stuttering I usually get there - eventually.
I'm transgender. Becoming an increasingly fraught part of society to be in thanks to Rowling and her ilk. I have no choice in the matter. It's the same as having brown eyes or blonde hair. I was born this way.
A year ago now I lost my beautiful partner who I thought I'd be with for life. Fate had other ideas. She wanted me to live on after her and be happy. Don't know if I can be, but I'm trying.
That's why I'm on here.

Im n ageing rock chick really - still listen to the same music as when I was a teenager.
Love the countryside, where I live is semi rural, which suits me.
I enjoy doing Tarot readings , I design & print myy own cards, some of which you can see in my gallery.

Ive not come on here as an Educationist, Ive come on here for the same reason as everyone else - Im a human being that desires companionship, intimacy. love, all the usual things.
After speaking to a lovely woman , initially I was a little shocked at the level of ignorance about TG people -
who they are, how they think, and how they feel. Then I realised that unless someone has a close friend thats
TG, or a relative, all people know are the 'facts' quoted by certain celebrities, politicians, and the media.
I would ask that noone believe these 'facts' without doing due diligence, in which case they will find them to
have no grounding in reality. Same applies to the pro-TG alliances, they mean well, but their exuberance
can alienate people.
Instead, find out for yourself instead of relying on 2nd & 3rd hand information thats quoted out of context or is in fact blatant and harmful lies. Absolutely do not rely on social media for your views.
All that being said, im happy to answer any questions anyone may have, even if youre not interested in a relationship with me. I wear my heart on my sleeve - in fact to the extent its permanently grafted to my backside like a whoopee cushion
