Widowed for nearly 2 years after almost 50 years of marriage, being relatively new to the area don't know that many people for days out. Would like to find someone to enjoy country walks and simple days out with.
Not one for fancy restaurants or pubs. Like to exercise to keep fit while I can, it's supposed to good for you so the doctors say. Trying to get some more recent photos but not having much luck with selfies, every time I try some old man sticks his face in the way!
Definitely not a romantic but I am very practical so if it's flowers and chocolates you want, you might be disappointed but at least your shelves will be level and stay up.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

Convenient for basic shops, close to the beach and easy access to countryside/river walks. Good transport links if required

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Being retired, the hours!

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Like being outdoors when I can, enjoy walking either beach or country.
Cycling and exercise with weights, not weightlifting as such.
Quite happy to sit quietly with a coffee somewhere watching the world go by.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

None in particular but outdoor places are best, not cities

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Nowhere on the pending list at present

What would you do on an ideal date?

Not being romantic, just a simple day out somewhere with good company
Not into fancy foods or pubs.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Friendship and motivation to get out more initially, then see what happens

What makes a good relationship?

At least some mutual interests.

What music do you like?

Can listen to most genres except jazz, prefer older stuff to the later ones, showing my age there.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Impossible to pick just one and hopefully more to come.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

It would be nice to find someone to bring a smile back into my life and start to enjoy it again.
