What do you like most about where you currently live?

It’s spacious and quiet most of the time. Close to amenities and has good public transportation.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

The duties are the same but meet different people every day. Good teamwork.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Gardening, camping, cycling when I can, walking, visiting the countryside / coast when I get the chance.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Austria, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, England, anywhere where it’s not too hot and it’s an open space. I haven’t travelled much.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I’d like to go back to Austria. Do the Sound of Music tour that I never got a chance to do with my mum x

What would you do on an ideal date?

On a first date I’d like to go somewhere where we could hear each other talk. A quiet country pub/cafe. And if all goes ok then plan a second date. Again somewhere quiet and relaxing like a restaurant.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone who’s respectful to others and themselves. Compassionate, understanding and trustworthy. Someone who values themselves and others and also values others opinions, even if they don’t agree with them. Someone with a sense of humour.

What makes a good relationship?

Communication, compromise, trust, honesty, caring, empathy, respect, loyalty, consideration for others.

What makes you laugh?

Someone with a sense of humour. Life in general makes me laugh. I always find something to laugh about. Myself most of the time.

What music do you like?

Easy listening, reggae, RnB, soul anything that’s easy on the ears. Some classical is ok, I find it relaxing. Depends on what I’m doing at the time. I don’t like heavy metal, heavy rock or punk.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Having my children, watching them grow into adults and finding their own way. Even if I don’t agree with what they do sometimes, it’s their life they have to lead it the way they feel is best for them. Taking my mum to Austria, her first flight at the age of 82. I planned everything she wanted to experience while we were there. It was on her bucket list. She passed away 3yrs later.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

To find someone who has the same outlook in life as me. A like minded man who’s caring and considerate.
