hi I'm john, nice to meet you. I'd like to think that i'm a kind, honest straight up loyal guy. i'm a gamer and watch documentaries, drama, action and movies. i don't tend to get out much but would love to get out more and enjoy life with the right someone going on trips as i tend to just stay at home and manage my health. i do smoke and i have no plans of stopping because it has been a valuable aid to me throughout my life, if you can't tolerate me respectfully smoking away from you then you are not for me.

I live alone in private rented housing, i'm a only child and have no children. i've now reached that certain age where i feel i'm past that point of opportunity of having any myself but i'm still open to it if my future partner wanted to as i cannot discount it. i do think of that possible kids future with the age i'm at..you cant not. if its happening it has to be soon or it wont at all. not gonna lie because thats not a good start lol i do feel that weight of responsibility being the last of my line but it doesn't control me fate will do what its supposed to do.

I am a proud goth, i do wear that style of clothing alot as its what i feel 'me' in and have a very unique taste in house decor. i enjoy rock music the most, but i do like any music genre if the track aint terrible but these days i don't tend to get to listen to much music. i can cook and and am practical, if i can realistically fix something or do something like growing veg in pots i'll have a go at it.

I have been single for around 6 years, i felt it was overdue that i tried walking this path again..the last breakup nearly put me 6ft under (if you want to know maybe one day i'll talk about it but i'm here to leave that where it belongs..the past). it has left me with a 'life event' scar so i'm not gonna deny that i'm hesitant to lower my guard again but with the right person that is committed for the long run that anxiety i have now will fade. i dunno if i want serious or casual i like that let it happen naturally way but i'm not here to have 1 night stands or mess around i'm just leaving my options on the table.

i rarely will speak 1st simply because if you message me i will assume there's some genuine interest and i've always been bad at opening conversation lol. if i have to message 1st i'm having to send 30+ messages which isnt the way i want to be it goes against my own core values. i only want to focus my attention on 1 person and keep it there solely, sadly that's the nature of online dating...its like fishing...cast your rod out and pray for your own sake something bites lol. If you want to chat please speak up, i will reply and sorry due to my rural location yup i'm reluctantly looking nationally, sorry if i'm too far away for your preferences...i always thought we could figure out the distance issue at a later point if things hit off.
