Jamesrtd is widowed and is seeking females for friendship or a serious relationship.

I’m a Scot now relocated down to Bedford. I am a retired fireman, pensioned off after an accident at work. Nothing major, just enough to make it difficult to do my job.

Hoping to meet lots of new friends and hopefully a special wee lassie. Come and say hello, you never know, you might even like me.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

I’ve moved down to Bedfordshire and love the countryside but it doesn’t quite rival Skye where I come from originally.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I love being outdoors. I love camping either in a tent or making your own cover for the night. I enjoy sailing and have my own small boat.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

I’m very much a European. I enjoy spending time in the south of France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

So many places I could think of, I just don’t want to do them on my own.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Martin Luther King Jnr had it right when he said judge a person not by the colour of their skin but the content of their character.

Looks fade and change over time. I want to find a good person, someone I can admire and respect.

What makes a good relationship?

Trust, connection, kisses and cuddles seem to help.

What music do you like?

It’s easier to say what I don’t like. Not a fan of Rap, House, Trance etc. call me old fashioned but I like my music played on instruments.
