What do you like most about where you currently live?

I'm back in my home city after being away for 40 years and loving it, rediscovering my roots.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I'm officially retired but, after working in research, IT and several other areas, I am now a qualified hypnotherapist, a truly gratifying occupation.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Playing viola in an orchestra and quartets, improving my French, dabbling with paints and spending time with my 19 month old granddaughter.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Interesting conversations, reliability, a listener, flexibility in their approach to life.

What music do you like?

Possibly easier to say what I don't like - modern jazz, the impressionist classical composers and any pop music after 1976.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Apart from having two amazing sons and now a granddaughter, getting my PhD, which I started when I was 60 - the physics bug never left me and getting a PhD was an itch that had to be scratched!

What are you looking forward to in the future?

I'm not good at looking ahead.
