At 71,I'm not as fit as I used to be, but I can still stand unaided which is a blessing. I live in a council bungalow with a garden about the size of a postage stamp,which is a shame as I enjoy growing my own vegetables, but hey ho, I get by. I live with my wife who has dementia and am her full time carer, so I have to make the most of the litt time I get to myself . I'd love to go swimming and sit for hours fishing but I have to be near,just incase. I've seen plenty of the world and now I like to stay in this country. My DIY skills are disastrous, but I can grow some lovely carrots. I enjoy visiting different garden centres which all have wheelchair access. I like animals and watching wildlife on the tv. I'm open to answering any questions you may have of me.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

I don't like where I live. I'm currently looking for another property away from here.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I don't have a job, I'm retired.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Canada, I loved it there, but can't afford to go back. Happy memories will do nicely.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Go for a coffee or a drink in a quiet pub away from the crowds.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Honesty, caring, loving, tactile.

What makes a good relationship?

Honesty, being able to talk openly to one another, talk through problems, patience.

What makes you laugh?

Silly things, I have an odd sense of humour.

What music do you like?

60's onwards, brass band, military, orchestral, I don't like punk or rap.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

I learnt to play a musical instrument.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

I hope to find my soul mate, the one I can trust with anything and everything, and to love me unconditionally.
