Originally from London now in the north. Been here over 10 yrs and have finally adjusted to the deathly slow pace of life. Almost. I work freelance in the creative media/knowledge economy and my work encompasses photography,writing and AI training. I'm looking for a special person to make memories with and to enjoy the natural beauty of the countryside. I'm a bit of a romantic & it's unfortunate that I have to plunge back into the dating scene so late in life after losing my beautiful partner. But instead of dwelling on past memories,it'll be good to get out and make new ones with a fun and adventurous like-minded companion. By nature I'm positive minded,emotionally intelligent,a curiousity seeker of knowledge,easy going (it's almost impossible to wind me up!), a good listener, outgoing, a born lover of the Great Outdoors, hiking,urban walking,animals and long conversations late into the night. I'm physically fit, not your typical middle aged slob, and, overall, neither look nor feel my age.

Green outlook. Been vegan a long time but have no issues if you're not. I firmly believe in 'live and let live'. I have a dry sense of humour and have many amusing personal anecdotes. It's a funny old world and I've seen a lot of funny things!

I don't have a 'type'. I do,however, want to find someone who's glass half full,sunny dispositioned, not loud, and who has the 'time' to do things. I may be nearly 60 but I haven't given up on life yet...Just yet lol

No baggage other than some rather natty Louis Vuitton hand luggage. I like travelling, boating, nature, playing tennis,Latin American dancing (Bachata,Tango), meditation,
stargazing,looking after animals, writing songs,literature,
campervan adventures,and the pull of big open skies. And there's always room for picking up a few more interests along the way,of course...You should never stop learning.

Hopefully I'll be relocating back South this year.Maybe Midlands/Marches.Spent last summer on the Trent boating,which I greatly enjoyed.It's hard to find the company of folk who are on the same wavelength up here. It's all hunting & shooting. No culture beyond that. I much prefer nature conservation to nature obliteration!

Non-smokers only. I've been in far too many hospices and lost countless friends/family to smoking,I don't want to have to go through all that again with someone new.

Inbetween EVs at the moment,but that doesn't stop me travelling far and wide.
