I’m a father and grandfather, loyal by nature, and I don’t do shallow particularly well. I like photography, old places, family history, countryside, museums, weather, odd little details, and conversations that start lightly and somehow end up somewhere real.

I’ve lived enough life to know that kindness, honesty, humour, and emotional steadiness matter far more than performance or polish. I’m not looking for drama, secrecy, or games. I’m looking for warmth, intelligence, laughter, tenderness, and the possibility of honest love — if it grows naturally.

I can seem calm and professional on the outside, but underneath that is a man with feeling, curiosity, loyalty, and a strong belief that life is better when two people can talk openly, laugh at absurdities, and be gentle with each other’s history.

A good first meeting? Coffee, a walk, an old town, a museum, or anywhere we can actually hear each other think.

Anything off the wall but I can't tell a decent joke to save my life

Pretty eclectic from classical to 1980s 1990s modern music leaves me feeling meh!

My family my cat being lucky to have found love and having most of brain cells still working LOL
