About Cliver

Cliver is widowed and is seeking females for friendship.

I’m an artist who’s worked as an illustrator in advertising most of my life. I am now retired and paint and sculpt to suit myself. One of my main passions is my house in France that I visit twice a year for extended periods of time. I live on my own with my little spaniel. I like a lady that is fun, kind and honest who enjoys snuggling up on the couch and sharing a nice bottle of wine. A lady who likes France would also be a bonus.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

It’s very peaceful as I live in the country outside Maidstone but I have 5he town only ten minutes away

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I’m an artist but I’m retired from the commercial side so I love to do create my own art now which makes me happy

What are your favourite leisure activities?

My favourite leisure activities are spendinding time doing up my house in France, painting and creating my sculptures that I sell around the world.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

My little village in central France and Dingle in Southern Ireland

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I’d love to visit Japan and the Galápagos Islands

What would you do on an ideal date?

Go for a walk taking my dog and stopping at a country pub for a quiet glass of wine

What are you looking for in a partner?

I’d like to meet a creative person who loves the simple things in life and who would share the enjoyment of my house in France that I visit for two to three months at a time.

What makes a good relationship?

Honesty, loyalty and a genuine understanding for each others needs

What makes you laugh?

Many things, like watching my dog trying to catch butterflies, a clever witty joke, seeing someone happy.

What music do you like?

I have a very eclectic taste in music from Folk to rock to jazz. I love blues, easy listening and I particularly love Irish music.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Apart from having my children and grandchildren, it would have to be working on an animated TV commercial using my sculptures and working with a couple of guys who worked on Wallace & Grommitv

What are you looking forward to in the future?

I’m looking forward to a relationship with a lovely caring lady to share my life with.

Why do you want a relationship?

I’m a people person and I find I need a lovely caring person in my life that I can care for too. Looking after someone else in my life also gives me a good sense of purpose in life.
