I can travel anywhere as I am retired - I live in Cumbria and also near Montrose in Scotland.

I travelled up the coast of Norway and across the Arctic Circle in March and bought a holiday home (static caravan) on the North East coast of Scotland in April.

I am very adaptable, but if you are set in your ways and not ready to slowly meld into a relationship, please pass me by. 😊 Oh and smokers, tobacco product users (vaping is fine) and drinkers can scoot on by too. Occasional drinks are fine though.

I was born in Kent, raised in Sussex, learnt to sail when I was a kid and did my Offshore Yachtmasters when I was 16. I have taken my advanced driving test and used to enjoy taking my vehicles up the strip at Santa Pod, or around a few race tracks 🏎 in England. I drive fast, so if you don't like that - again, pass me by!

I have also owned a river boat, ⛵ which was lots of fun - but not so fast! I was a property developer and landlord before selling up and moving to Spain. I lived in a cave on solar and wind power, with chickens, cats and dogs. It was an amazing life.

My background is Secretarial/Admin. I sadly had to return to the UK from Spain in 2020. (Don't mention the B word!) I am enjoying spending more and more time in Scotland at the moment.

Camping, driving, gardening, music taste 🎶 is very, very varied (Bauhaus to Fito Fitipaldis - Trance to Reggae - Ska to Pop, oh all sorts!) and cooking are other things I enjoy.

I am an outgoing, independent girl, never married, no kids, retired quite a while ago, ready to settle down with a wonderful, cuddly, funny, extrovert, loving and kind man. I am a bit overweight/cuddly, so if you want a slim girl that is not and never will be me...!

I am also high functioning Autistic and although I fortunately don't have meltdowns, I do need a fair bit of reassuring, especially at the beginning of a new friendship/relationship. Once I am secure I am lots of fun to be with I think. 😊

If you don't know about female adult Autism, look it up before you judge. Mine really isn't that bad and I just want any potential friend/partner to be aware beforehand. Ask me anything. I don't like secrets and am an open and honest person.

I love dogs (although I don't have one at the moment) and have spent time in the past 2 years fostering dogs for local and national charities.

Laughter is important to me, I like it a lot, so if you can make me laugh, we'd be off to a good start! 👍

...and if you think this is my life story, wrong, just a snippet, but you need to know I'm not an average girl!!!
