I’m retired, having worked as an electrical engineer, merchant navy officer, computer engineer, software specialist & senior manager.

Tennis, gardening, walking, volunteering, spending time with Family & Friends

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Anywhere with a jungle. South east Asia, South America, wild parts of Britain.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

More jungles, Arctic & Antartica

What would you do on an ideal date?

Have a walk, a chat & a pub lunch.
An evening at the theatre or cinema.
Quiet dinner out as a couple or with friends.
Not past pubbing & clubbing it!

What are you looking for in a partner?

Initially friendship, shared interests & someone to talk & laugh with.
Longer term a soulmate I could perhaps share my life with.

What makes a good relationship?

Openness, honesty, consideration, genuine affection & a willingness to treat life’s little pitfalls as shared challenges to be overcome.

What makes you laugh?

A lot of things, most comedy, the antics of children & animals, time with family & friends

What music do you like?

Pretty eclectic & mood dependant. Anything from Country & pop to heavy metal. I like some classical but don’t do jazz.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Having had the opportunity to raise a family, a fairly successful career & travel a large proportion of the world.

Potentially finding a kindred spirit to share what’s left with.
