What do you like most about where you currently live?

The closeness to the countryside and the sea which is about an hours and a half away from me
the gentle slope of the hills and downs and the fact the area lies between two cities with good transport links to them both. and the feeling of spiritual peace ,when walking my dog in that landscape .I like the small town feel . prosperous and over bearing , it has a good selection of independent shops , and the countryside is close by .

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

I am retired , took early retirement in 2020 after i completed 45 yrs ,I was employed as
a technician .for a utility company ,so I travelled a lot when working.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

My leisure activities are , Target Shooting , Gardening , History , Architecture , Reading , Wildlife and Pets ,
Environmental Conservation , Walking , Hiking , the Countryside / Outdoors. Friends / Family , Computing / IT
Vintage Aircraft , Cars . Staying in / Going out , Documentaries , Television , Music , Theatre. local politics .

Where in the world are your favourite places?

The United Kingdom is my favourite p[ace , have no wish to travel outside this country.
it has so much to offer , peace , countryside , open spaces , towns , villages , and hamlets , etc

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I like the United Kingdom it has so much to offer .in so many ways that perhaps other places
do not .

What would you do on an ideal date?

Visit a country pub, chat , over a meal . and go for walk in the countryside , weather permitting .

What are you looking for in a partner?

I am looking for someone who is honest , kind and considerate , with good morals , and
manners , some one who is affectionate ,Trustworthy , warm hearted , fun to be with , and friendly in nature ,likes animals and pets ,
some one I can relax with and talk to .a person I feel comfortable with , a companion , Friend , and my be more in time .a person who can accept me for who I am and just what I look like .

What makes a good relationship?

Trust and Honesty , and truth , good friendship and companionship ,also being comfortable in each other's
company , sharing the difficult parts of life and compassion .Understanding , open communication , a mutual respect and equality , empathy and acceptance ,
A relationship is built on a foundation , that is built over time , it thrives when both partners feel emotionally safe , support each others independence and can work together as a team to navigate inevitable challenges that can occur in life .

What makes you laugh?

I like movies , shows , comedic situations ,in life , happy situations etc .
good company , being at ease with someone . ,

What music do you like?

I enjoy , Classical music , Concert Music ,Jazz , Popular Music , Easy Listening , Swing / Big Band , Brass Music , Military Bands , Rock , some opera , Movie Film Music , The BBC Proms .

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Being elected to the town's council in 2025 , and made chairman of the
parks and estates committee that same year .
and later that year being nominated as a trustee for the local chapel in the town , as a representative to
the towns council /

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Continuing life's journey and seeing what is around the next corner , life is a
long road trip .a good friend and hopefully something long term ,

About Me

I admit that I am not very good at this , so please bear with me , Here Goes ,I am looking for friendship and an activity companion , I am a countryman , heart and soul , I am 68 yrs of age , a little shy at first until you get to know me , I am Honest ,Kind and Compassionate , respectful of others ,Warm hearted , with good manners and morals , I am affectionate and Trustworthy ,and have a wry sense of humour, I admit to being a little overweight and battered by the elements from working in the elements ,I am a animal lover and have a medium sized "rescue" dog that is adorable, I am easy going in nature , empathetic ,and my style of dress is smart casual , but I do like to dress down should the need arise , I am the type of person who is well grounded in life ,Since Retirement I do voluntary work for a local conservation group monitoring our local rivers and the wildlife in and around them ,this as well as being an elected councillor for the town , this all keeps me active in life , I do not like bad manners or morals , or the abuse of Woman ,Children or Animals , I think that they all should be treated with the dignity and respect that should be accorded to them in a civilized twenty first century community ,
I am also a environmentalist / conservationist who is concerned about our environment and the impact the human race is having on the flora and fauna of this planet , we inhabit with so many species that make up life on this planet and what it will be like for the generations that will come after us ,if you are generally interested drop me a line ,
