7848 is widowed and is seeking females for a serious relationship.

Ok, so I’m on the wrong side of 70 but that doesn’t mean I can’t try to find someone likeminded and who, like me isn’t ready to give up on life just yet!

I’m a widower of 12 years. Married 44 years and courting (now there’s an old word) for 4 years before that, so that should perhaps, give you an idea of my character?

I think I’m a little different to the usual guys of my age as I refuse to grow old gracefully or any other way, for that matter!

I’ve always looked after myself, and still do. I cycle every morning before most people are even up and about and I exercise regularly. I eat as healthily as is reasonable and don’t let this diet thing spoil my life as I like to treat myself occasionally to some things that perhaps I shouldn’t. But what the Hell, life is for living, right?

I’ve been told that I’ve a great sense of humour if a little quirky at times and that I’m good company and don’t look or act my age.

My taste in music is probably as expected 60s onward but I do like the more modern stuff too!
I like to visit pubs and like live bands. I love to eat out in nice restaurants but I’m equally happy with fish n chips, or whatever suits at the time. However, I’m equally happy cooking something at mine and cuddling up with that special someone, watching a good film, perhaps with a nice bottle of something?

I do like long weekends away, city breaks, holidays here but love holidays in the sun. I can sit around a pool if thats your choice but much prefer getting out and about, seeing the sights and trying the local cuisine
