Hi and sorry as I will go straight to the point, I do have masculine traits, but many strong feminine ones which I feel make me stronger, not weaker. Indeed, being who I am has got me through some tough times being widowed when the children were toddlers, and then a mummy/daddy (single parent) to boy girl twins, who have both grown up into very intelligent, active witty well balanced young adults now at uni.

I have enjoyed the homemaker side of my life (feminine side) love cooking and am an early riser who normally has the ironing done before breakfast. But that doesn't mean I am push over to be abused (don't search women who like feminine men, which seems to be mainly about abuse). Enjoy watching films, especially rom coms, and period costume films and dramas. Don't do horror. And am a hopeless romantic.

Masculine side enjoys watching both the men's and women's rugby union (England supporter), being active including rock climbing, leisure cycling (certainly not a mamil), canoeing, walking and boating.

If you are most comfortable with complying to strict social constructs then we aren't suited, Equality is best. I strongly believe in good manners for that is part and parcel of equality! Although when eating out, I pay to have food cooked and served to me, the person serving that food is my equal, not my servant. In that situation we merely have different roles. Indeed, if you habitually late, don't bother contacting me, for I feel out of respect to my equals one should endeavour to be in good time respecting them and their time. Of course life can happen that occasionally makes one late.

Good relationships are about compromise, but I am looking for someone with a good heart, preferably intelligent (I'm rather sapiosexual), is active (you certainly don't need to be a gym bunny), and would like to be in a mutually supportive home where positive feminine energy can thrive.

I hope you appreciate my open honesty, which I appreciate may come across as somewhat blunt, but I didn't wish to waffle. Sorry, however, if that has struck a chord with you, please write to me and not just a cheesy one liner, I would dearly love to know about you, so please let it flow for I am interested in people and one who often has lovely conversations with strangers.
