Originally from a seaside town in South Devon, I moved to the North London and Hertfordshire area over 50 years ago when I started a new job and I have remained here ever since. I currently live near Hertford, 20 miles north of Central London.
Optimistic, quiet and easy going with a sense of adventure, I like to spend time in the countryside around where I live as well as exploring Central London where I worked for many years.
Among my many interests, I am an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction especially history, my musical tastes range from classical to 50s rock ‘n’ roll to 60s pop and I enjoy gardening although my garden never seems to look any tidier.
I try to keep up with current events even though it is becoming increasingly more difficult.
