I’m a business analyst by day, tech tinkerer by nature, and someone who believes weekends are for good food, better company, and getting out somewhere that doesn’t involve a queue.

I like music that actually has some heart (Motown, rock, 70s, 80s – proper stuff), live gigs over club nights, and smart tech that doesn’t need a reboot every five minutes. Big fan of the coast – Devon and Norfolk are firm favourites – and I’ve got a soft spot for a last-minute escape to Greece, Turkey or anywhere with sun and no wi-fi.

I’m the sort of bloke who’ll get the BBQ lit before the forecast's confirmed, and I can talk for hours about fishing spots, retro tunes, or why your smart thermostat is probably lying to you.
