Practical, adventurous, bearded, knowledgeable, quirky, and open minded are a few adjectives I can throw out there to begin with.
I finally decided to ruralise myself a couple of years back and moved up to the Pennines from Bristol, which has been great in almost all regards, but the city life spoiled me socially and I find it harder to meet new people.
Apparently my friends think I'm a gentleman - yet for the life of me I have no idea how that happened. I guess I hide my swearing pretty well, hold the door open for people, and try to be polite at times, yet I also speak my mind and can come across as a little blunt which occasionally lands me in trouble!
I have a passion for the great outdoors, be it cycling through the woods, climbing a mountain or listening to the sea on a lovely little beach.
I am also a bit of a geek in few different fields, either technology or engineering related. I have a habit of having many different projects on the go .
Musically, I am as eclectic as they come. I love dancing to Jazz as equally as underground Dance music. I can happily chill to some local folk, or a great classical composer, and 80's cheese will put a smile on my face as much as a good rock song.
I also enjoy the quiet nights in with some good food, either takeaway or home cooked (although friends keep complaining that I am fattening them up, they still come back for more!) or a good movie (my collection is out of control - 500ish and still growing)
