Hello! I am Nick from Littlehampton -I had a serious brain stem stroke in
March 2013, a life changing event that saw my life spiral downwards. That means of course that I am now DISABLED! I know it puts many off, experience has taught me that! Have stayed alone for 11 years now - I can do everything for myself including driving! Distance seems to be a huge barrier too when it comes to "Dating" or whatever we call it now.

I will travel any distance for a good woman & I would've hoped it would be the same both ways! So many say "Ooh you're too far away from me" even when it's 25-30 miles away which just seems like they can't be arsed to get a relationship even started & that's such a shame!

Wife left me for someone else, lost our home, my working from home ended

Instantly & life became very hard! A year after the stroke, wife left

& I had a mental meltdown resulting in 6 weeks in a coma &
having to learn many things again for the second time! Ten years on:

I live alone with my dog & 3 cats, I live a slower life now as my walking is

poor due to brain damage! I drive though & have an electric
scooter too! I do everything for myself, it is just a much slower pace. I have been
alone for over ten years now, I crave the attention of a woman someone who
likes to talk about everything & share different views!

I'm hopeless at writing about myself - what else to say?

I would like to meet a nice woman to settle down with that just likes the simple things in life with no drama's!

I'm on a serious weight loss program now & am losing fairly quickly! It's a hard slog but I must lose as I will be able to walk further than I can now & will feel healthier too! I lost nearly 12 & a half stone so far - never going back either!

Like to drive to the beach & take dog for a good run there esp in the Spring & Summer, meet all the other dogs & they have a great time! Makes me happy to see them all together.

Must love animals especially dogs & cats! I notice that there are plenty here that also love animals so that's a bonus!
