Hi I'm here for friends and to have a more diverse social life. Kindly note that I am interested in intelligent, respectful men, and my profile is an honest one I have a son who was hurt in a car crash over 16 years ago, but he is fairly independent now, so I'd like to have some time for myself again. My son goes to the gym, and has been to college. That's some going as he was in a coma and the medics didn't expect anything from him!! I was in the hospital for 6 months attending to his care / exercising him. Then travelled to re-hab for the next 13 months to see him. I Exercise regularly and usually do a mix of cardio, light weights and resistance exercises. I enjoy travelling and seeing other cultures. Rome, Pisa and Seville are lovely, the architecture is amazing to see! I have been to Dubai and Maroc(2010), and enjoyed the experience very much! I stayed with a traditional Berber /Tamarzite family for a month+, and lived/ dressed traditionally. Also attended a 4 day wedding and got heatstroke in a trad tent...o my!! I went back again in 2011.After that I went to Cyprus and took my son back with me on a second trip. Since then I've been to Kos and took mum to Jersey and I was in India March 2012 Had a few adventures as well as I went alone! Feb 2013 sailed the Caribbean- lovely!! I have had many journeys abroad since including Mexico, Jamaica, Brazil, USA, Canada etc and many European cities. I have some amazing memories of lovely places, and when I see blue skies and seas I want to be there!!!
I am an intelligent, caring person who will always be honest about my feelings and respect others feelings also. I have some really gr8 friends and I am grateful for the lifestyle that I have. I also believe in God and that the world is a community, which we are all responsible for!! I am interested in many things, and enjoy good conversation and banter! lol
I respect ppl who are reliable and mostly easy going about life, who respect themselves and other ppl. I like to have a laugh and spend time with friends/family, eating out esp curry, tapas and chinese! I enjoy walking, dancing, music, nature, beautiful scenery, and just being grateful that life is kind to me. My main interest is human rights, and I try to make time most days to support and encourage this!! I support MJ as he has been unfairly maligned as negatives make better news than telling how great a humanitarian he really was!
If I meet the right person then maybe in time I will be interested in something more than friendship.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

It's a small town in the countryside but near shopping/motorway facilities.
There are miles of fields behind and horses that peer over the hawthorn hedge.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Meeting new people and making a difference.I have good colleagues and we have some fun as well!

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Dancing, eating out, exercising, time with friends, walking in countryside and travelling...Im quite adventurous in a way, Have been Dubai alone 4x and also stayed a month+ with trad Berber family and attended a 4 day wedding in Maroc in a tent in the heat of summer.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Spain/ Dubai/West coast of USA,and of course Llangollen, its a lovely picturesque place set in a valley with a river running through,a canal, steam engine and interesting shops.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

China,Japan,maybe return to Mexico,San Francisco and San Diego.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Just a friendly chat and time to get to know one another!maybe a meal, dancing, walk and chat. Let's see!

What are you looking for in a partner?

Honesty, kindness, quiet strength, intelligence, humour, decency, principles,SANITY, fun, compassionate and truthful! some1 who genuinely cares about other ppl, a GR8 personality, fit, lively youngish dark and attractive...(I don't ask for much!!!...lol)

What makes a good relationship?

Honesty, trust, loyalty, kindness, patience, talking about what counts, staying focused on the person/people you care most for in your life! be open and welcoming of other ppl and make time 2b together and enjoy life...

What makes you laugh?

many things,tv comedy programme, time with my friends/ colleagues, tv ads, ppl in general, life in general, some clever smutty jokes, drag acts etc

many things ...from The Phantom OTO to Ne-yo, Enrique, MJJ, pop, dance, Marvin Gaye, Shania Twain, Bollywood music, trad Spanish/ spanish pop etc

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

getting my Social Work Quals and the birth of my 2 children.I'm hoping for more... highlights that is not children lol.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Settling my son who was injured in crash.
Spending time with my family/grandchildren
Re-kindling a good social life with friends.
Maybe True love!
