Please read ALL of this. I’ve been on here about two years now and had a few dates and met some really nice people…along with a couple of not so nice but that’s to be expected. Still not the one for me though.

I’m really not interested in driving miles to see someone. Been there done that and had the petrol bill to prove it. Please note I rarely answer messages from people miles away.

I’m contemplating down sizing so bear that in mind. It might mean relocating but I definitely don’t want to move in with you.

I would like to meet someone who is also retired and doesn’t shy away from booking a weekend away because of the cat/dog etc. I love animals but they do tend to get in the way of spontaneity. My son and daughter are adults now and have told me they don’t intend to have any. I wouldn’t mind being a surrogate granny.
I do respond to some messages but do not respond to the wink emoji. What does it even mean? I immediately delete any that address me as ‘babe’!! Or simply send Hi. I will immediately block anyone who opens with sexual comments eg. Hi sexy…etc ..since I find that approach incredibly tedious.
I think most of you just click on a picture rather than read in a profile so all this might be a big waste of energy but ‘hope springs eternal’. Please note.. I don’t chat unless I am going to meet in the real world.
