Hello, I've spent most of my life on Somerset, apart from a year in London, which was enough. I did quite a bit of travelling when I was younger, and still like to get away when I can. I'm a keen gardener with my own allotment, and enjoy cooking with what I grow. I also enjoy the usual, cinema, eating out, live music etc. I'm looking for a kind and chatty women to enjoy these sort of activities with and perhaps develop into a serious relationship.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

I like being so near to open countryside, also as its where I grew up my family and friends are here.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Working in education is different nearly every day, and I feel I'm helping young people achieve their goals, and the students are quite amusing. They remind me of when I was a gormless teenager.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

I like cooking and growing as much of the food I eat as possible. I play darts on a Friday and like to do the usual of eating out, go to gigs and the cinema. I also watch live sport when I can.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

My best holidays have been in France and New York City. I also love the Somerset countryside in summer.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

I would love to visit Rome. I studied roman history and I love Italian food.

What would you do on an ideal date?

Something fun and social, perhaps live music or theatre. Then a nice meal and a chance to chat.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone kind and chatty, who shares my interests and likes to socialise and travel.

What makes a good relationship?

Trust and respect, and the ability to laugh together.

What makes you laugh?

The usual things, gentle banter and ribbing between friends. To give some idea among my favourite sit coms are red dwarf, black adder, silicon valley and father Ted.

What music do you like?

I like quite a broad range, from the sex pistols to the pogues. The smiths to Johnny Cash.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

I think the travel and adventures I had in my early twentys, before the responsibility of being an adult took over.
