About Rainhamboy
Rainhamboy is divorced and is seeking females for a serious relationship.
Hi, I'm a tall Rainham 'born & bred' chap. Had the desperate misfortune to be amongst the original September '75 intake at the Howard School (hated every minute). Obvs, nothing ever happened in Rainham, boringville central!
I'm in the happy situation where I do not have to work anymore. My modest little place is bought and paid for as is my British made estate car. (I love my cars, I used to be a motor mechanic, very loyal to UK car firms).
I've always loved music, be it at home, or being played 'live'. I have a large collection of music, very eclectic tastes, everything from Abba to Led Zeppelin, and don't tell anyone, but I like 70s disco too. However, I can't dance to save my life. I was born with 'two left feet' and no sense of rhythm.
I don't smoke, I don't gamble, I have no tattoos, I don't do drugs. Music, wine & cars are my 'habits'.
I like girls who like a bit of fun. Life is too short to be boring!
I've done the 'boring' thing in the past, it wasn't great!
What do you like most about where you currently live?
It's my 'home town' I live within one mile of where I was born. My home is very close to the train station, a supermarket, various take-aways and the local Wetherspoons. Which is handy!
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
I'm retired! I spent 40 years as a professional driver, big stuff, double decker buses and articulated lorries.
After, at least, a million miles I deserve a rest.
What are your favourite leisure activities?
Doing as little as possible! But I do enjoy local history, visiting the coast, enjoying a cold beer on a sunny day.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
Obvs, my home. But I do enjoy the Canary Islands, especially Gran Canaria. Maspalomas Dunes are amazing.
Where in the world would you love to visit?
I'd love to go on The Ghan, a luxury train journey from Adelaide to Darwin in Australia. Trouble is, I really don't like flying. The journey to Aus would be unbearable.
What would you do on an ideal date?
Get there on time! But a nice romantic meal in a decent restaurant would be good. I'm not the sort of person who would suggest rock climbing of hang-gliding for a first date. Or ever, to be honest.
What are you looking for in a partner?
Well, a millionaire brewery owner!
But, seriously, somebody I can connect with and share the good times with.
What makes a good relationship?
Trust and honesty. It is the bedrock of a good relationship.
What makes you laugh?
Oh blimey! Now I'm in trouble.
Classic comedy, Monty Python, Dad's Army, Get Some In, Kenny Everette, Fawlty Towers etc, but my all time favourite is Father Ted.
I also laugh at over confident people on YouTube doing 'epic' fails.
What music do you like?
Good music!
Proper musicians who can play their instrument and compose a decent song.
Plastic 'manufactured' pop leaves me cold. Can't stand boy/girl groups who just mime to a backing track.
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
Retiring! also buying my property and car 'outright'.
There have been some good times, but a few bad times, too.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
Meeting a lovely lady who is genuine.
Do you have a hobby?
Yes, I love music, have a large collection of CDs/Vinyl etc.
I also like 'home cinema' I've have a good quality 5.1 'surround' system.
