I am a man looking for a woman, I'm open to serious relationship, I dont mess about no time for wasters or flirting I understand that I may need to date one or two to find the right one for me.
I believe myself to be a friendly not really either outgoing or shy person. I am an Engineer by profession and see the world in a logical and scientific way. My religious thought is unconventional but I was christened in the C of E.
I am a member of the IET.
I have a good sense of humor, and can be funny and I usually get a joke.
I have a long time interest in Astrology especially as I am BSc. and colleagues have never been able to see it. I have tested and found something to it. Also Astronomy, I love watching the Universe programmes and criticising when the graphics are wrong. I have a philosophical side to me. Now that I am not busy working all the time, I have time to read and think more on some neglected thought, ask if you want to know.
I am on my own far too much now and I would like to have a special someone. To share thoughts and experiences together with, to help each other out a bit, bounce off ideas and see if it is possible to finish each others thoughts. That really would be great.
I like cycling and use it to help me to maintain my health and keep my weight into line. I like to walk out in the country, shoreline, woodlands, hills. Camping. I do not like running, I love woodlands, the sounds of birdsong, smells of nature, the animal trails to follow. I used to play in the woods as a child.
I don't drink very much, although I will on occasion have one or two. I don't like being drunk.
I drink tea, and no longer like coffee.
I am practical and quite self-sufficient in most areas of endeavour. I wouldn't say I like decorating though, I have become good at it and do it when necessary, having done up a couple of houses, I have tried my hand at most things. Better with company though.
I look forward to meeting someone who likes to go for a walk or a drive or ride to a picnic or a meal and just take in the splendour of our natural world.
And is also happy to just chill out somewhere comfortable.
I would like to see a bit more of our world like Florence, Portugal, Scotland and Ireland.
I have travelled all over Europe, mostly working but some holiday time.
There is a lot more about me than I can think of to put down here, I am honest and caring, and have love to spare. I can be bold and will stand up for the good and positive.
