Hello and thank you for perusing my profile. As a late 60s man I’m very much a product of an analogue age but enthusiastically embracing the digital revolution. I enjoy a range of pursuits and interests including music, both listening and computer composition, astronomy and astrophotography. I’m never happier than collecting photons that have taken eons to reach us across the vastness of the physical universe. I’m also into archaeology, genealogy, English history, visiting ancient sites and ‘sacred’ landscapes, general aviation, classic cars, photography and antique fairs. My happy places are ‘muddy boots’ country pubs serving real ale accompanied by a roaring log fire when the season demands it, or a bracing walk under a big sky in an ancient landscape. We have plenty here in Wiltshire. What kind of person do I find attractive? Well, I’m hardly in a position to dictate that. But for the record, let’s just say that I find that intelligence and wit far surpass personal aesthetics.

I adore my two daughters and the two (very soon to be three) grandchildren they have gifted me. There’s nothing like being Grandpa and reverting to my childhood with a three year old. It’s great therapy.

Am I looking for a serious relationship? Well, that would be wonderful but I’m at the mercy of serendipity. Either way, friendship and human connection are important to me.
