Hello there, I am a very easy going guy with a good sense of humour. I love to laugh and be happy. I am a carer for my Dad atm (Parkinsons). but I still get plenty of free time and would love to have someone special to spend that time with.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

It's where I grew up and feels like home, I lived in Newcastle for 5 years and even though it's a wonderful part of the country it just didn't feel like home. it's also close to the coast and lakes.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Looking after my Dad (Parkinsons), not the highest paid job in the world but it's a job that doesn't feel like a job. We get on great and we have a good giggle, it's something I would do anyway so I don't really call it a job.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Travelling and I suppose i do read alot. Love taking the dog out, if i get the time I occasionally go fishing.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

India, especially Goa but I would love to explore north India, places like Shimla. I also love Turkey and Greece (especially Crete).

Where in the world would you love to visit?

The Seychelles or Maldives if I fancied a beach holiday, but my next destination is a bucket list city, ofc it's Rome. I am a middle age man obsessed with the roman empire, what did you expect.

What would you do on an ideal date?

I really don't know, I was in plenty of relationships over the years but I never really dated. Maybe meet somewhere nice for a brew and a chat. I am really easy going so I would be happy anywhere you feel safe.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone caring and affectionate, with a silly sense of humour. Oh! and someone who likes dogs as I will probably always have one lol.

What makes a good relationship?

Honesty and empathy. (Sounds like a Paul McCartney song). A similar sense of humour is also an advantage,

What makes you laugh?

Absolutely all sorts, from Monty Python to Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont. But my absolute favourite is the late great Sean Locke and Peter Kay (my face ached for a full day after seeing Peter Kay live).

What music do you like?

Everything mostly from Tupac to Adele. I love Queen and Luther Vandross, the only thing I am not into is the really heavy metal. I just don't feel it sry.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

My Daughter I know that sounds like a cop out but it's true. She has always brought me happiness.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Hopefully going to see places and experience new things hopefully with someone like minded.
