What do you like most about where you currently live?

It’s a nice, quiet estate, low crime, good transport, alright local shops, easy access to countryside and not far from three cities.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

It’s challenging, interesting work, and contributes to important decisions and I have the respect of my colleagues. The benefits are pretty good too.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Visiting museums or zoos, walking, cooking, enjoying movies and great TV shows, cinema, DIY projects.

I have a soft spot for Beamish

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Rome and Egypt and then for a pure recreational holiday somewhere beautiful, Lake Como

What would you do on an ideal date?

The activity would be secondary to the company; the ideal date would become so by being with the ideal person.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Younger than or equal age to me. Shorter than or equal height to me. In good health and looks after themselves but also share the occasional bottle of wine of an evening. Looks wise I’m open to a vast array of features.
Now the important stuff; personality. I’m pretty easy going myself and get on well with most people, so I’m not going to prescribe a personality type here. I will avoid smokers and drug users, while I’d love to share a fondness for sci-fi and fantasy, and somebody who knows their way around a gym, to help me get in shape, would be appreciated.

What makes a good relationship?

Mutually supporting each other, knowing how a situation will affect them, what they would think, feel or say about something, anticipating their needs, listening and sympathising, or getting excited about stuff together. But one of the strongest and most essential keystones is humour and making each other laugh as often as possible.

What makes you laugh?

Silliness, ridiculousness, epic fails, and laugh chain reactions (laugh-snort-fart-laugh), and having a repertoire of catchphrases.

What music do you like?

Rock and heavy metal, some opera, 90s and 2000s Dance

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

The last 24 years during which my two daughters were born and grew into fine young ladies

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Meeting the co-author of the next chapter of my life
