About MileEnd
MileEnd is divorced and is seeking males for friendship.
When I'm here, I spend most of my time on the forum.
I was originally looking to date, but now only looking for friendship.
This made me laugh:-
Dating after 60 is easy,
It's like riding a bike,
But the bike is on fire,
The ground is on fire,
Everything is on fire,
Because you're in hell.
Haha, exactly how it feels!
Despite everything, enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.
What do you like most about where you currently live?
Very near to facilities, reliable transport, shops, places of interest, plus the neighbours are lovely
What are your favourite leisure activities?
Prefer being outdoors, visiting churches, castles, garden centres, National Trust/English Heritage sites, exploring little villages, taking a gentle stroll along beaches or coastline, watching films, listening to music. I've neglected my camera for far too long, would like to get back into photography. Arty things also, painting and drawing. Can be persuaded to go for a pub lunch, or to a restaurant.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
I don't have a definite favourite but I loved Croatia, Amsterdam, Barcelona, have mainly travelled in Europe. Also love many places in England, Ireland and Wales, both coastal and inland.
Where in the world would you love to visit?
Have never been to Scotland, so that's on my list, one day.
What would you do on an ideal date?
Although not here to date anyone, a friendly meet up at a cafe for a coffee and chat would be nice, for about an hour, to see how we get along.
What makes a good relationship?
Respect and tolerance of little differences between you, being able to be yourself in each other's company. Patience also.
What makes you laugh?
Comedians such as Ricky Gervais, Peter Kay, Sarah Millican.
Can still smile at watching Fawlty Towers and One Foot In The Grave.
The way the world has turned out, the way politicians speak and behave ...
Although it's more of an 'I can't believe it' kind of laughter ...
Laughing is better than crying, so they say.
What music do you like?
Soul, Motown, ska, reggae, bagpipes, classical, rock. Most genres appeal, except for the punk style. Do like live gigs/festivals, the smaller gatherings.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
My knee op, or at least the pain relief injection I've been promised.
Factual, reporting on the news and in the media.
Reality.
