Madmaggie is widowed and is seeking males for friendship.

I am very independent and not looking for a live-in partner. Starting again will not be easy for me. I have been in the public and civic life for the past 26 years and now taken a step back, which has given me time to reflect on my own life. I love reading and being outdoors. My main interest is health, having worked on an ambulance for 21 years and still do patient support as a volunteer. I am a widow, having lost my husband 11 years ago. I did not find 'moving on' easy and through myself into working and volunteering. My family life is a little complex but not in an unhappy way and they are importsnt to me. My greatest joy is doing things for others. I have a lovely set of friends from all walks of life - and I do not judge others, but respect their differences. I am far from perfect and can be very irritating - I am a Gemini, honest, down to earth and annoying !
