What do you like most about where you currently live?

I'm near to my family, its quiet but just a short distance to Milton Keynes cinema and shopping centre

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

Although partly retired I still hold a position at the council in Scotland.I work from home trying to sort out complicated diffuculties experienced by constituents It's challenging at times but it's a great feeling if I can actually assist the constituent and improve their situation

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Cinema, just seen the new Odessey. I like country walks and pub lunches. I sing in the church choir (the latin is a bit tricky). I'm hoping to be elected as a hospital governor but if not I might up grade my counselling qualifications

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Italy is a favorite also Turkey and Croatia.

Where in the world would you love to visit?

Canada, to take the train that goes through the redwood forests in Autumn. Another possibility is to take the Orient express from Istanbul to Calais

What would you do on an ideal date?

Cinema and then a meal, we could talk about the film. Or a picnic in the country

What are you looking for in a partner?

A positive, can do attitude., Someone who enjoy quiet times and lively get togethers. A caring personality with a good sense of humour.

What makes a good relationship?

Trust and trustworthyness. Patience and affection. Never taking each other for granted

What makes you laugh?

I like banter and comical things in real life.

I like folk Steeleye Span also Fleetwoodmac, James Taylor and Joni Mitchel

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

I think it has to be getting a lecturing position at Milton Keynes College. I didn't think I had the right qualifications and was so surprised and delighted at getting the job. I hadn't enjoyed any of my jobs so far and the lecturing position changed my life

What are you looking forward to in the future?

I like to traveI and have some plans in place for this year. I want to finish my short (ghost) stories and try to find a publisher. I hope I stay active and healthy and have a loving companion to share life with
