I'm looking to take things slowly and see where life leads. I'm only interested in a genuine, stable relationship—casual dating isn't ever for me. My children will always come first, and trust, honesty, and kindness matter most.

I love Computer Science and also enjoy nature, history, world cinema, music (from classics to metal), cricket, football, wildlife, travel, and trying new cuisines. I'm always happy to explore new interests with the right person.

No drugs, please. I primarily use nicotine patches/gum now, with the occasional vape. However I put "Heavy Smoker" because my nicotine patches are strong and wanted to be honest and in the past I smoked pipe tobacco too but never illegal substances.

Other bits: I'm irrationally scared of wasps since childhood, not a fan of deep water from a subconscious traumatic memory as a baby, and my personality type is an INFJ-A. If you appreciate honesty, a good sense of humour, and someone looking for something real, I'd love to chat.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

One of the most cosmopolitan city by far and also the most breathtaking.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

My work involved dealing with highly complex scenarios where sometimes managing new IT infrastructure was as interesting as the people using it. I have also worked in the hospitality sector even though it is a completely different profession.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Reading,learning, music of a massive genre from anywhere, movies (more of thrillers, suspense action) and console gaming. TV shows too that are interesting.

up in the mountains and down by the sea

Where in the world would you love to visit?

rest of europe, far east, japan, korea. not affected whatsoever by whims of politics

What would you do on an ideal date?

Generic answers would be perhaps a movie or even meet initially at a cafe. However, ideally I would try to understand what the person for me actually likes. Not trying to people please but it is important to get to know each other.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Everything is a step by step situation, and then see from there. This is very important especially if the person is someone who may become my better half.

What makes a good relationship?

faith in people to do the right thing.

What makes you laugh?

Examples of external sources would be funny movies and TV shows or from reading books that are also hilarious or the "fool", (the smartest jester during Shakespearean times). However in reality sometimes the most fun, laughter and joy someone can get is from the companion they find.

from oldies pop to extreme metal but not hiphop

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

my sons, need for education,concept of love,care and compassion and everlasting thirst for knowledge and science

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Getting stability back for both the person who may be my future better half as well as rebuilding both of us for the present and future in a much more pragmatic and caring way.
