Johncornes is widowed and is seeking females for a serious relationship.
What do you like most about where you currently live?
I like the varied spaces to walk with my husky dog, Kiera. Seaside strolls or windblown moorland wanderings! I enjoy visiting historical sites across the area. The general accessibility of the towns, especially 'out of season' is a plus and a motivation to get 'out and about'.
What do you enjoy most about your current job?
I am now retired, having spent 40 years working in health and social care as a team manager is the disabilities sector.
What are your favourite leisure activities?
Walking my dog!!! I also play walking football on Saturday mornings for a couple of hours. I enjoy watching live sporting events, mainly at a local level.
Where in the world are your favourite places?
I am absolutely in love with Greece. Stoupa is my happy place to go to on an annual basis.
I travelled extensively in Mexico and throughout Europe over the years.
Where in the world would you love to visit?
Belize and Guatemala are definitely on my list of must visit countries in order to complete my historical affinity with the Mayan culture.
The Nordic countries - for the history and amazing views and a relaxing cruise.
Revisit and explore all the Celtic countries - Ireland; Scotland; Wales; Brittany again.
What would you do on an ideal date?
A very old hotel with lots of atmosphere, which could be in the UK or Europe so long as it has got countryside walks and coastal paths. Location has to have places of interest to visit
What are you looking for in a partner?
Openness; the ability to view the world with an acerbic eye and laugh! To enjoy sharing interests and opinions (there is no right or wrong - just different perspectives!). To have a moral compass pointing in the right direction with regards to animals and the current state of affairs in the world.
To enjoy music and books! To have an opinion! To be honest. To feel young again! Live; Life and love.
What makes a good relationship?
Mutual respect: We are all unique individuals and citizens of the world. Embrace life and share whatever comes our way with positivity; humour and determination. Mutual support and lots of smiles.
What makes you laugh?
Life!!! Spike Milligan; The Pink Panther!! Irreverent humour when something crops up. People watching and spontaneous reactions to funny things that happen.
What music do you like?
I have a large collection of 60's music - The Doors & Jefferson Airplane for e.g. Also love folk music. By the 1970's I have followed Sparks since 1972 and have seen then them over 25 times!! Also T Rex and the glam period music. The Walker Brothers; Jacques Brel; etc.
I am very open to being introduced to new music outside of my current interests - variety is the spice of life!
What has been the highlight of your life so far?
Having two wonderful daughters and a grandson. Feeling that during my working life the roles I had made a positive difference to a range of disadvantaged people I had the pleasure of serving and enabling to have a better life. have a very few close friends, who are always there, no matter what.
What are you looking forward to in the future?
A share a life with someone who has a zest for life and explore new experiences -. To continue to be the best I can be and make a positive difference to people's lives.
