Like all individuals I am complex. I have some attractive features, and like everyone I know I have some annoying ones. At the end of the day what you see is what you get. Life as always has taken it’s toll on my personality, trust comes slowly when it comes to relationships. Not that I let the past influence my present, it does make me wary of the future. Born in England of good Irish stock now living in the beautiful Island of Orkney for the last 21 years, and here i stay.

What do you like most about where you currently live?

When I first laid eyes upon Orkney I just knew it was where I needed to be. The sea, the rocks the open landscape.

What do you enjoy most about your current job?

The people I work with.

What are your favourite leisure activities?

Driving in the countryside taking photographs. Computer gaming when I have a spare moment. Reading Sci-Fi.

Where in the world are your favourite places?

Scotland, just about anywhere. California in the US (Not right now of course). Coastal Europe or the mountains. Some bits of France (Not Paris).

Where in the world would you love to visit?

New Zealand (Hard to say that in 20 characters)

What would you do on an ideal date?

Listen, learn, understand.

What are you looking for in a partner?

Someone easy going, able to compromise, most important a sense of Humour.

What makes a good relationship?

Honesty. Trust. Forgiveness.

What makes you laugh?

Just about anything in the right circumstances.

What music do you like?

Classic Rock. Trad Jazz, Blues. NOT Country or most pop.

What has been the highlight of your life so far?

Finding Orkney and living here.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Surviving long enough to see an Independent Scotland
