Who am I hoping to find on this site?

I am looking for a lady who will be a good friend with the possibility of becoming a close friend enjoying days out, weekends away and holidays if we get on well with each other, I do not want someone who is just using this site as another message site.
I wish to make it clear I am not looking for one night stands so anyone reading my profile and sends a message can be assured this is a honest approach to finding a companion.

I would like to find a lady who is outgoing, bubbly, and to enjoy days out when we can, enjoys a laugh and is sincere about finding friendship as a starting point.

Ok about me which is the reason you are reading this.

I am a widower and have spent a few years now on my own I miss sharing my experiences of going and doing things on my travels in life, as it is more enjoyable being able to share that experience with someone.

I think about myself as being in my sixty's as age is only a number I am fit and walk about 2 miles a day with my dog

I am outgoing, I like to go places traveling abroad & many week trips here in the UK

My music likes are from the 60's to 80's as that is where today's music as we know it started and for me has never been repeated. I have lived in Stockport for 55+ years. I have never smoked and hate the smell of it on peoples clothes so Lady's you would have to be a non smoker.

Yes I am 70ish its the new 60 something, it is not a age to be thrown on the scrapheap as you will find when you reach it. Lol,

I think a lady should be treated as a lady with respect and you would see that in plenty.
